Leave a Comment I really missed the movie “The Devil Wears Prada” This 2006 comedy-drama film loose an on-screen adaptation of Weinberger’s 2003 novel of the same title.
Staring Anne Hathaway as Andy Sachs, a fresh college graduate who went to New York City and found a new job as a co-assistant to powerful and demanding fashion magazine editor Miranda Priestly, played by Meryl Streep. The two lady leads were supported by the co-star, Emily Blunt and Stanley Tucci, as Catty’s co-assistant Emily Charlton, and critical yet supportive Art Director Nigel. Adrian Grenier, Simon Baker and Tracie Thoms play key supporting roles. The film was produced by Wendy Finerman and successfully directed by David Frankel. 20th Century Fox was the official distributor of the film.
Streep’s performance became a wild card that drew rave reviews from VIP critics that successfully earned her many award nominations, including her record-setting 14th Oscar bid, as well as a Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Comedy or Musical. The commercial success and critical praise for Streep’s performance continued in foreign markets, with the film leading the international box office on that season.
Many of those stars were got involved in the film’s production just like Emily Blunt’s performance that drew favorable notice and nominations too.
The public critical reactions were favorably accepted and became a big surprise to summer box-office movie.
Although the movie was set in the fashion territory of New York, lots of fashion designers and other famous fashion houses are hiding themselves for fear of displeasing U.S. Vogue editor Anna Wintour. However, many designers allowed their clothes and accessories to be used in the film. This is the making of the film expensively-costumed in the history.
Unfortunately, this movie is really a”devilish way”. I truly felt an obsession for Prada and maybe later on, I am now the devil that wears Prada.

The America’s Cup is considered as the the most prestigious regatta race in the field of sailing and the oldest active trophy in the international sport dominating the modern olympics of today for over 45 years.
This sport catches great attraction to most sailors and yacht designers due to its historic event and prestige.
Although the higlight event of the regatta is in yacht racing, the event also inlcudes boat design testing, sail designing, fundraising, and how to manage skills of an individual. The cup was originally named as the Royal Yacht Squadron cup but it was renamed, schooner America after winning the trophy.
The trophy was still in the hands of the New York Yacht Club of the United States from 1852-1857 until the year 1983, the longest winning streak in the history of sport was broken by the challenger, Australia II of Australia. John Bertrand, the skipper of Ausralia II once quoted “This puts yacht racing back on the map.” The said event is a great challenge-driven series between two yachts that are racing to each other for the trophy.
The America’s Cup is a race between the winner of the challenger selection series and the current holder. If the challenging team wins the cup, the cup’s ownership is transferred from the defender’s yacht club to the winning team’s yacht club.

She confessed to numerous fashion magazines that she can’t walk in high heels and that walking the runway terrifies her because of the incident. Despite of being foot wrapped, she still managed being fabulous and pretty.

The catwalk models showcased their pinned back rehearsal-style hair, over-emphasised eyebrows, dainty ballet lace-up flats and candy color pumps, haute couture and a series of leotard-come-swimsuits in raspberry, eggshell blue, chocolate, terracotta, fuchsia and black all with billowing capes trailing behind.
But unfortunately, I din’t see any set of Jean Paul Gaultier Wallets during the runway show. It is the time to head over to styledrops to see more of his Spring wallet collections.
