Prada Handbags for Fall 2009

Muccia Prada amuse the world of fashion again in her exotic design at her Miu Miu Spring 2010 show in Paris. The design were in full esssence. Some pieces exposed on the divulge and scanty side, allowing surreptitious glance or secretly look of paunch skin below the style and tailor in a certain fashion suits.

To increase the quality signatures of devil-may-care innocence to the collection the designer give the long, scraggly braids that expressing the admiration to the triumph of the designer.

A howling success of the Prada Handbags for Fall 2009 Collection create of highest excellence and refined design, regarding the last years lace debacle. The evocative of a doctors bag, the designers give an aesthetically pleasing naunce of burgandy or dramatized nylon with the Prada emblem move to the modesty and wise and self-restraint side of the shoulder bags.

Givenchy Spring 2010 Runway

The latest collection from Givenchy Spring 2010 designed by Riccardo Tisci who was inspired him by the youth of Morocco, Tunisia and designing with Michael Jackson in mind. Love it or hate it!

The collection started with a clean slate of white and black monochromatic suits and the show progressed into an urban-inspired wear in the form of baggy tapered shorts and simple oversize tops.

During the past seasons, Tisci had moved from modesty to boldness, bringing forth loud prints, vibrant red and lame gold.

It is an eye-catching show but visually clash with no logic.
Both solids and red flannelette were embellished to the point of no return made solid pieces like the tuxedo coats, cummerbund or mesh tank into relief. Tisci excels on the solid front but in regards to prints and embellishments maybe he needs a grounding in reality.

Gucci Handbags for Spring/Summer 2010

I am once again an avid fan of the iconic Gucci label with their Gucci handbags, shoes, clothing collection for spring/summer 2010. If Frida Gianini swear not to do again the awful hippie, disco, or flowery designs from her previous collections and focus more of the present clean glam style, definitely Gucci could recapture it’s once excellent reputation.

When Giannini stepped in, there were many season’s of hideous designs and lot of fans like myself, thought they were becoming a horrible luxury accessory ever.

However this collection is truly the work of a genius. The show started with all white and it slowly turned into gray and totally became black. The overlying theme of the label’s presentation was sex appeal and slavery and this was being visible to clothing lines and traces in the shoe and handbag collections.

The clutch bags presented were neat and clean in a single color. Smaller shoulder bags are also showcased during the show featuring a bamboo handle and small detail. This bag is something that I really love for the upcoming spring/summer handbags. They also have a metal chain and leather shoulder strap. The large totes are embellished with white Guccisima leather in a harness detail on the front and have double whip leather straps. This type of bag really capture the essence of Gucci Collection for the spring /summer 2010.

John Galliano Collections for Spring/Summer 2010

John Galliano Carrie BradshawThe Dior dress designed by John Galliano was made famous when Carrie wore it in Sex and the City. Now John Galliano expanded his accessories in 100 styles of bags, small leather goods, belts, luggage and travel bags. This was licensed to Plus IT for design, production and distribution under a five-year contract.

The collection will include the Dior creative director’s design signatures on prints, appliqués and embroideries as well as on messenger, doctor, and hobo bags. Made from faux oilskin leathers, washed nylon, distresses calf skin and kilim-printed corduroy.

The collection has also a romantic mood featuring the Galliano logo in blush pint with gemstone embroideries, lacework, heart-shaped metal charms, keys and the letter G.

Fendi Spring/Summer 2010 handbags

The house of Fendi offered variety styles for their 2010 Spring/Summer handbag collection with two opposing themes – vintage and futuristic.
The designer, Karl Lagerfeld used lots of obscure, lingerie influenced fabric to cover several handbags, but the end results are bit sloppy and worn.

Some Fendi handbags are made of wooden handles and has an unusual feature of a snap on fabric cover, in various form of materials from linen with a flower-embroidered edge to needlepoint.
Other wooden handled handbags has a strip of transparent Perspex, giving a futuristic element that looks inappropriate for a vintage style bag.

Leather and snakeskin materials embroidered with some decorative details are being used for Peek a Boo handbag.
Most perplexing were the transparent Perspex clutches and they modeled empty but what does it look like if it has something inside on it? Of course it would ruin their beauty to carry anything in them. We use bags to carry things, right?

I saw one potential bag from the collection and it was a studded Perspex clutch. The studs gave enough cover so you could actually tote the bag with no sloppy-look at all but there’s a huge empty space with no studs where your hand should go to carry the bag.

Overall, I found the effort of the designer creating extraordinary handbags for the chic and classy women with a vintage and futuristic approach towards fashion.

Vera Wang Handbags for Fall 2009

As we all thought, Vera Wang is just for bridal wedding gowns and other ensembles but now isn’t just for brides anymore. Her handbag collections are rapidly expanding her fashion empire. The bags itself could tell you why.

The designer continues her beautiful and exquisite designs and give more attention to details in her handbag arena as she does in her gowns. Her newest collection features beautiful materials like soft nappa leather, exotic stingray, and satin in simple, yet elegant frame bags.

Very demure and lady-like handbags that reminds me of handbags wore by women in the 50’s.

I Love Manolo Blahnik too!

No one captures the heart of every woman except Manolo Blahnik. He is solely responsible for the design of every thousand pairs of shoes that bear his signature.

When Carrie Bradshaw, the shoe-loving main character of the Sex And The City TV series, took a wrong turn after lunch in SoHo she found herself on one of New York’s grungier side streets and face-to-face with a mugger. “Please sir,” she pleaded. “You can take my Fendi baguette, you can take my ring and my watch, but don’t take my Blahniks.”

Unfortunately, the mugger took off her favorite pair of strappy Manolo’s.

Manolo Blahnik

The TV series plays a very important role in Manolo’s life. He has become one of the renowned designers whose name is synonymous with their product. The name itself – Manolo – is now used as a label to describe very expensive and very beautiful shoes. Even though some people never have a chance to see the actual pair of Manolo Blahniks.

I really really appreciate the works of Manolo. His remarkable achievement given that Blahnik is solely responsible for the design and prototype of every shoe that bears his name without any apprentices. Without any formal trainings in shoe-making, he has dominated the entire shoe business in London“I didn’t need it,” Blahnik told his friend Michael Roberts only half-jokingly in the late 1970s, “because I’ve got the best taste in the world.”

New Chloe Pink Python Clutch with Crystal Bow

The house of Chloe designed this elegant handbag for IT women of today. This has to be one of the prettiest and coolest Chloé handbags I’ve ever seen.

Chloé Pink Python Clutch with Crystal Bow

It was made of real python skins in beautiful dusty pink and set against the black leather bow. The python scales are perfectly size and skillfully uniform.

The crystal bow is just the right amount of accessory to keep this sophisticated yet super chic handbag. I like that this bag best suitable for any ages. I could see a gorgeous older woman toting around with a silk or a young chic into the club.

It has an envelope flap which fastens with a magnetic snap closure, and it has a nude leather lining with a small interior pocket. The Chloé Pink Python Clutch with Crystal Bow measure 32cm width, 20cm in height and 2cm. In depth.

Available in other colors with the price of approximately $1,824.

Burberry Prorsum Spring/Summer 2010 Collection

The Burberry Prorsum Spring /Summer 2010 collections are so much expected and being anticipated by the many and finally it was unveiled and closed during the 25th Anniversary of the London Fashion Week.
The house of Burberry who presented their collections in Milan for many years returned to London to make the celebration more colorful and meaningful.

Trench coats are the main pieces for the upcoming Spring/Summer 2010 trend. The trench has been reinvented and designed particularly for the hippie chic ages 18-to 25 years old.
Beige color is very popular and trendy in this collection as well as military motives are still fresh.

Indeed, the Burberry trench coats are a must-haves for every fashionista all over the world most especially in England where rainy days are being experienced.

Aside from the trench, the Burberry designer tried some extraordinary short dresses made of light airy fabrics. The materials has something never done by Burberry before, they were twisted, pleated and draped.

The colors are all subdued such as gray, mint green, lavender, rosy, yellowish, and other pastel colors. Nothing was bright or catchy color in this collection.

For me, the entire collection gives the impression of luxury, glamor and calmness.
