Gucci Androgynous Direction

Alessandro Michele,  creative director of Gucci, is the head behind the brand’s new, androgynous direction. “I’d like to present my men’s and ladies’ collections together,” he said. “It’s the way I see the world today. It will not be an easy, but I believe it will give me the chance to move towards a different kind of approach to my fashion. This road has been already opened by Burberry and Tom Ford,unisex fashion is on the rise, as is fashion that makes the wearer and viewer reconsider what we habitually label as either ‘masculine’ or ‘feminine.’

“Having separate shows for men and women is largely a result of now outdated and oftentimes inconvenient traditions” says Marco Bizzarri, chief executive officer of Gucci Shop. “Producing one show each season will significantly help to simplify many aspects of our business”.


Tod’s Wave Bag gains popularity among international stars.

Prada launches 2 new bags: Pionnière and Cahier

The new Pionnière and Cahier bags from the Italian luxury fashion house are very peculiar for form and structure compared to the existing collection of Prada Handbags. Part of the FW2016 collection, the 2 styles are already available at Prada stores worldwide.

Madonna’s Daughter Lourdes Debuts In Stella McCartney’s Perfume Campaign

Madonna’s eldest daughter, Lourdes Lola Leon, makes her official debut in the fashion world. The 19 year old girl is the new face of Stella McCartney’s Pop fragrance campaign. Lola is at ease in the images of the promotion that was shot by Glen Luchford in California with the sun-drenched desert as backdrop. It was McCartney’s call for female camaraderie and collective girl power that led Leon to collaborate with the British designer, who also happens to be a longtime friend of her mother’s. In the first image release for the campaign, Lourdes’ naturally dark black hair has been dyed a soft lavender shade that complements the magenta shades of the Pop bottle and the pastel pink backdrop.
